We at the Naval Medical Center San Diego put together this booklet to provide information regarding asthma diagnosis, management and treatment options. This information is intended to help you learn about your condition and effectively manage your asthma. Our purpose of Your Asthma Care Workbook was to condense the multitude of asthma information into a comprehensive book. This workbook is intended to be used as a daily guide for your asthma care. It can be used by babysitters, health-care professionals, teachers, caregivers, parents, as well as anyone else caring for an individual with asthma. We suggest you keep this guide in a handy place where it will be readily available. The workbook can be used to reference information your provider may have discussed with you. However, it is not meant to be a substitute for seeking appropriate medical care. Thank you for using our book and we hope it contains information that you find valuable.
