Your phone Nokia 7260 provides many functions that are practical for daily use, such as a calendar, a clock, an alarm clock, a FM-radio, and a built-in camera. For availability and information on using SIM card services, contact your SIM card vendor. This may be the service provider, network operator, or other vendor. You can enter text (for example, when writing messages) using traditional or predictive text input. When using traditional text input, press a number key, 1 to 9, repeatedly until the desired character appears. In predictive text input you can enter a letter with a single keypress.

The phone registers the phone numbers of identified missed, received, and dialed calls; the message recipients; and the approximate length of your calls. The phone registers if it is switched on and within the network’s service area, and the network supports these functions.

You can save names and phone numbers (Contacts) in the phone memory and in the SIM card memory. The phone memory may save contacts with numbers and text items. You can also save an image for a certain number of names.

Your phone Nokia 7260 has various setting groups, called profiles, for which you can customize the phone tones for different events and environments.

You can take photos or record video clips with the built-in camera. The camera produces pictures in JPEG format and video clips in 3GP format.

You can set the phone to alarm at a desired time. Select Menu > Organiser > Alarm clock. To set the alarm, select Alarm time, and enter the alarm time. To change the alarm time when the alarm time is set, select On. To set the phone to alert you on selected days of the week, select Repeat alarm. To select an alarm tone, select Alarm tone. To set the snooze time-out, select Snooze time-out.

Your phone Nokia 7260 software may include some games and Java applications specially designed for this Nokia phone.

You can send and receive e-mail and access the Internet when your phone is connected to a compatible PC through an IR or data cable (CA-42) connection. You can use your phone with a variety of PC connectivity and data communications applications.
