To use the phone you must have service from a wireless service provider. Many of the features in this device depend on features in the wireless network to function. These Network Services may not be available on all networks or you may have to make specific arrangements with your service provider before you can utilize Network Services. Your service provider may need to give you additional instructions for their use and explain what charges will apply. Some networks may have limitations that affect howyou can use Network Services. For instance, some networks may not support all languagedependent characters and services.

With the Camera application you can take pictures and record videos while on the move. The images and video are automatically saved in the Gallery application. The camera produces JPEG images, and video clips are recorded in the 3GPP file format with the .3gp file extension. You can also send images or a video in a multimedia message, as an e-mail attachment, or using aBluetooth connection.

Instant messaging is a network service which allows you to converse with other people using instant messages and join discussion forums (IM groups) with specific topics. Various service providers maintain IM servers that you can log in to once you have registered to an IM service.
