The Global Positioning System (GPS) is operated by the government of the United States, which is solely responsible for its accuracy and maintenance. The accuracy of location data can be affected by adjustments to GPS satellites made by the United States government and is subject to change with the United States Department of Defense civil GPS policy and the Federal Radionavigation Plan. Accuracy can also be affected by poor satellite geometry.

You can use Data mover to move certain data, such as contacts and settings, from your Nokia 9200 series Communicator to your Nokia 9300 with infrared or a memory card. Before you start, make sure that there is enough free memory in your devices or memory card for the move. Note that if there is less than 2 MB of free memory in the Nokia 9300 , you cannot move any data. Do not use the Nokia 9300 when using Data mover. If possible, switch off the cover phone. Make sure you have enough battery power, or connect the device to a charger.

You can configure your phone with settings that are required for certain services to function correctly. The services are browser, multimedia messaging, remote Internet server synchronization, presence, e-mail application, and streaming. You can get the settings from your SIM card or from a service provider as a configuration message, or you can enter your personal settings manually. Configuration settings from up to 10 different service providers can be stored in the phone and can be managed within this menu.

Your phone includes a music player for listening to music tracks, or other MP3, AAC, AAC+, and enhanced AAC+ sound files that you have downloaded from the Web or transferred to the phone with the Nokia Audio Manager application, which is part of Nokia PC Suite. See “Nokia PC Suite,” p. 70.
Music files stored in the music folder in the phone memory or on the memory card will automatically be detected and added to the music library during the startup of the phone. To open the music player, select Menu > Music player.
