PDF Ebook Cake or Death - That’s an Easy Question
Submitted by antoq on Tue, 01/18/2011 - 07:47My work explores body adornment, consumable artwork, and desire. Narrative stories influence the works, recreating aspects of past personal experience as a woman affected battles with Anorexia and Bulimia. In this thesis work, I utilized techniques that I practice in creating kiln formed glass to make works with materials that mimic it: hard candy and sugar. At first glance, it is hard to recognize what some sculptural components are actually made of.

Motorcycling has become increasingly popular in the Army with 33,425 motorcycles currently registered on Army installations. one result is that motorcycle accident rates have increased proportionately. As the accident rate goes up, leaders must find ways to improve motorcycle safety within the Army. The Chief of Staff, Army, now requires the Six Point Program developed by the combat Readiness Center be used by all Army units. Like any sport, motorcycling can be very dangerous. Although we cannot totally prevent motorcycle accidents, through proper training and preparation we can reduce them. Therefore, our actions can make riding motorcycles fun rather than fatal.

Ebook Bikers: Modern-day Cowboys or Ruthless Outlaws?
Submitted by antoq on Wed, 12/10/2008 - 09:15
Motorcycle riders bikers as a group have been stigmatized by society as renegades. They are looked upon as a subculture of nomadic vagabonds whose only purpose in life is to roam the highways at their leisure, party at the drop of a hat, and terrorize the communities they enter. The media has perpetuated that perception since the early days of motorcycling, and Hollywood has followed suit with a plethora of “Biker movies” that depict them in the worst light.

Free Ebooks: The Textbook of Digital Photography
Submitted by acrobat on Tue, 09/30/2008 - 02:21Not long ago the course title "Digital Photography" implied a course on Photoshop. As digital cameras have become increasingly popular, the introductory course has also gone digital so you are now introduced to photography using a digital camera. As this new era of digital photography matures, it won’t be long before the "digital" in "digital photography" becomes redundant. It will be assumed, because that is the way almost all photography will be done.
